Cooking French Onion Pie:
Step 1: prepare the butter.

Step 4: prepare the dough.
When the butter becomes room temperature, put it in a bowl with sifted flour. Using a tablespoon, carefully grind the components to the state of crumbs.
Immediately after that we add to the container 3 tablespoons sour cream and knead the dough with clean hands. Attention: it should turn out to be viscous and dense. Now we roll a ball out of it and wrap it with cling film. We remove the dough in the refrigerator to brew for 0.5-2 hours.
Step 5: prepare the onion filling.
Pour the vegetable oil into the pan and spread 100g creamy. We put the container on medium heat and heat the contents well. When the last component melts and becomes liquid in consistency, we begin to prepare the filling. We spread the chopped onions in the pan and, occasionally stirring with a wooden spatula, fry until soft and a soft golden color appears on the surface. Immediately after that, turn off the burner, and set the capacity aside.
Step 6: prepare the filling for the filling.
Break the egg into a clean small bowl and pour the remaining sour cream. Using a mixer or hand whisk, beat the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed. Attention: when using an electric appliance, mix everything at low speed. After that, pour salt (about 1.5 teaspoons) and black ground pepper into a container to taste. Again, whisk everything until smooth and leave it aside for a while.
Step 7: Prepare Hard Cheese
Using a coarse grater, grind hard cheese directly on a cutting board. Then pour the chips into a free small bowl and wrap them with cling film so that the component does not wind off.
Step 8: Cook the French Onion Pie.
We take the real dough from the refrigerator, free it from the cling film and put it on the kitchen table, slightly crushed with flour. Using a rolling pin, we roll the ball into a thin cake. Attention: the thickness of the cake should be no more than 1 centimeter.
Now grease the bottom and walls of the mold with a small piece of butter. We spread the cake here and crush it with clean hands so that we have sides. Put the container in the refrigerator for 30 minutesso that the dough freezes again.
After the allotted time, we take out the container from a cold place and, using a tablespoon, spread the onion filling with a uniform layer on the cake. Fill it with dressing and completely cover with grated cheese. Then we bend the sides inside the cake and turn on the oven. Heat it to temperature 160 ° C. Immediately after that, put the form on a medium level and bake the dish for 30-40 minutes.
During this time, the cake is covered with a golden crust, and the dough will become ruddy and will smell appetizing. We turn off the oven, and take out the cake with the help of kitchen oven gloves and leave it to cool slightly aside.
Step 9: serve the French onion pie.
