Potatoes (especially new potatoes) they are one of my favorite dishes. Whether as a side dish, as a snack or as a stand-alone, they have a great time in my family. In addition, the combination of potatoes, cheese and cumin is a very successful one, especially if in the middle there is also a small & # 8222visit & # 8221 in the hot oven.

These potatoes stuffed with cheese and bacon are an ideal company for a story with friends or watching a movie / match, next to a cold beer. Look how good it looks: soft, creamy potato, with fragrant filling and browned skin. Yummy!

I used new potatoes because they are much more fragile than the old ones. If you choose old potatoes then you will have to prolong the cooking time. The filling is made from cow's cheese (sweet cheese, as for cheese pancakes or bread) mixed with other matured, flavored cheeses: Cheddar, Gouda, Tilsit, Emmentaler. You can also choose a little bellows cheese or blue mold cheeses (Stilton, Roquefort, Danish Blue, Gorgonzola, Bavaria Blue etc). The picture below is from another recipe (Flammkuchen with 5 cheeses) and is an example of the types of cheese.

Smoking can also be varied. From kaiser or homemade bacon (recipe here) la smaninuta (clisa) smoked (recipe here), smoked bacon or even rounds of smoked sausages spicy or not.

From the quantities below it results approx. 16-20 baked potatoes stuffed with cheese and bacon.

Potatoes baked in foil and stuffed with bellows cheese

I chose 8 medium-sized potatoes, I cleaned and washed them, then I wrapped each one in foil like candy (it's easier to unwrap towards the end).

I turned on the oven at position 5 and let it heat up for 10 minutes, then I placed them in the tray without putting water and I put them in the oven. The tray must be positioned in the middle of the oven.

I set the timer to 55 minutes.

After the 55 minutes have passed, remove the tray and unfold each foil, taking care not to burn it from the steam. We fold each foil next to the potato in the shape of a basket, we scoop out the potato with a knife and we fill it with bellows cheese. Top with a teaspoon of beaten egg and put in the oven for at least 10 minutes (until slightly browned).
Serve hot, in foil.
