Biscuit mill

If I still got the prize from Bucătaraş, ie the book "De-a bucătarii" by Teo Rogobete, I thought I would be happy to put into practice one of the recipes. I chose the morişcă biscuits. I share them with the children, because it is the remembrance of the dead (Enlightenment).

  • 100 g vanilla powdered sugar
  • 200 gr of flour
  • 150 gr soft butter
  • One big egg (or two small ones)
  • A spoonful of cocoa
  • A teaspoon of lemon essence
  • The teaspoon is free of rum

Servings: -

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

Beat the egg as for the omelet and mix with the powdered sugar.

Separately mix the butter until it becomes a creamy foam.

Pour the egg mixture over the butter and continue mixing. Incorporate the flour and divide the dough into two equal parts. In one half of the composition we put the lemon essence, and in the other half we put the cocoa and the rum essence.

Wrap each composition in foil and put in the fridge for 30 minutes. Spread two sheets of about the same size, overlap them with the sheet of cocoa on the outside and roll them.

Cut the roll into slices about 1 cm thick and place them in the tray lined with baking paper. Put in the oven for 15 minutes. The biscuits should not brown. Remove the biscuits on a grill and let them cool.

They didn't look too good for me, I think I would have needed a tablespoon of flour in the "white" composition and it would have been better to cut them with a thread than with a knife.

The mix that goes with the safe to prepare a lot of cookies and biscuits. To prepare the dough add 1 egg, 150 g butter, 20 ml milk. Discover other recipes with the Mix for cookies or biscuits.
