Preparation of brushwood with vodka (for alcohol):

Step 1: prepare the dough.

For this versatile sweet dish you need very few products, and we start with the main thing - we will prepare the dough. We put a chicken egg in a deep bowl, it is desirable that the shell does not appear with it.
After that, pour there a tablespoon of vodka of any brand and pour a pinch of salt.
Beat these products with a whisk or a table fork until lightly splendid and begin to gradually add the sifted wheat flour.

We act slowly, while kneading a slightly sticky, not very cool dough. Then we wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.

Step 2: form brushwood.

After the required time, we take out the dough from the refrigerator, remove the polyethylene from it and put it on the kitchen table, previously sprinkled with a tablespoon of flour. Next, knead it with your hands so that you get a round thick pancake, and sprinkle it with flour.

After that, we roll out the dough into a layer, trying to give it the shape of a rectangle. His thickness should not exceed one millimeter, but preferably even thinner like tissue paper.
Then, using a sharp kitchen knife, we cut the rolled dough with rhombuses or small rectangles long 5 to 7 centimeters and width from 1 to 2 centimeters.
In the middle of each piece we make a small incision in 1 centimeter.

Now we take one strip, we pass its upper or lower part into the hole one or two times and put the resulting "bow" on the table. In the same way, we form the rest of the brushwood until the dough is over, and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: fry the brushwood.

We put on a strong fire a deep non-stick pan with a thick bottom and pour into it about 1.5 - 2 cups vegetable oil.
As soon as it warms up, drop the first portion of brushwood there, that's enough for a start 4 - 5 bows. We fry them on both sides no more 30 seconds to a ruddy, beige-golden crust.

After that, we transfer the flour products to a paper kitchen towel, previously spread out on the countertop, and also prepare the rest of the brushwood.
Then put the crunchy crusts on a large flat dish and cool to room temperature.

Then, using a sieve with a fine mesh, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve.

Step 4: serve brushwood with vodka (for alcohol).

Firewood with vodka (for alcohol) is an inexpensive, but very tasty sweet for children and adults. After cooking, the fried dough pieces are cooled, sprinkled with icing sugar to taste and served on the table with tea. If desired, this dish can be served along with honey, favorite jam, jam, melted chocolate or sweet cream. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal!
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- a deep non-stick pan is easily replaced by a large frying pan or a wide cauldron;

- eggs with salt can be beaten with a mixer, from this the dough during frying will be even more magnificent;

- instead of a plastic food wrap, you can use a plastic bag or aluminum food foil;

- during frying, periodically add vegetable oil to the pan so that its level does not fall and the brushwood is fried evenly from all sides.
