Making tartlets with salmon mousse:

Step 1: prepare the dough.

Place cold butter, flour, salt and egg yolk in a blender and beat until smooth. Knead the dough quickly so that the butter does not have time to melt.

Knead the dough with your hands to get a tight ball. Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate 30 minutes.

Step 2: bake the tartlets.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
Take the finished dough out of the refrigerator and, plucking pieces from it, fill in the molds, sticking around the edges.
Chop the dough over the entire area and place the tartlets in a hot oven on 15-20 minutes.

When the dough is baked, remove it from the oven, remove from the mold and put to cool. The main thing is to be careful and do not sprinkle your pastries with your hands.

Step 3: prepare the mousse.

While the tartlets are cooling, clean the smoked salmon fillet from the skin.

Grind the fish in a blender to a paste.

Add soft cream cheese to salmon, pepper and season with Provencal herbs. Mix everything with a spoon to make the mass homogeneous. You can continue to whisk everything in a blender to make the mousse even more airy.

Step 4: fill the tartlets with mousse.

Transfer salmon mousse to a pastry bag, and then fill it with tartlets with a slide. Once you fill in all the blanks, the snack can be served at the festive table.

Step 5: serve tartlets with salmon mousse.

Garnish your appetizer with lime slices or pink peppercorns, and you yourself can come up with a special decoration for your table.

Tartlets with salmon mousse turn out to be very tasty and disappear from the table just in the blink of an eye, so don’t be afraid to cook more so that everyone has enough.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- If you do not have a pastry bag, build it from a regular plastic bag. Fill with cream, move the mass to one corner, and then carefully trim it.
