Green Bean Salad with Ham

Ingredients for making salad with green beans and ham.

  1. Potato 300 grams
  2. Canned green beans 1 can
  3. Sour cream 2 tablespoons
  4. Cucumber 1 piece
  5. Red onion 1 piece
  6. Mayonnaise 1-2 tablespoons
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Ground pepper to taste
  9. A little lemon zest
  10. Butter (butter and olive) for frying beans

Making a salad with green beans and ham:

Step 1: cook the potatoes.

Jacket potatoes in their skins in salted water for 20-30 minutes until ready (vegetables should be easily pierced with a knife). After cooking, the potatoes need to be cooled, peeled and cut into small cubes.
Add salt, pepper, grated cucumber, a little lemon zest and finely chopped red onion to the potato. Season it all with mayonnaise and mix.

Step 2: prepare the ham.

Cut the ham into cubes about the same size as the cubes of potatoes, mix it with sour cream.

Step 3: mix the potatoes with the ham.

Add the ham and sour cream to the potato salad and mix everything together. Check salt and pepper, add if something is missing.

Step 4: add the beans.

Drain the brine from canned beans and send the pods to fry in a mixture of vegetable and butter. Stir frying for 2-3 minutes. Then remove the beans from the heat, drain the oil, and send the pods to the salad.
Stir everything together and you can serve warm.

Step 5: serve the salad with green beans and ham.

Salad with green beans and ham can be served as usual, mixing everything together, or you can make a festive dish out of it, laying the dish in layers. First, potatoes with mayonnaise and onions, then cucumbers, ham in sour cream and slightly fried canned beans at the top. Pepper everything before serving and enjoy.
