Potted Beef Ingredients

Cooking beef in pots:

Step 1: prepare the meat.


First of all, turn on and preheat the oven up to 180 degrees Celsius.
After that, we wash the beef under cold running water, dry it with paper towels, put it on a cutting board and clean it from the hymen and small bones that could remain on the meat after chopping the carcass.
Then cut the tenderloin into small portions of the size of a walnut or a little cream.

Step 2: prepare the onions.


Now peel the onion, rinse it under cold water, dry it with paper towels, put on a cutting board and cut into small cubes, half rings or rings up to 1 centimeter thick. Leave the cut on the board.

Step 3: bake the beef in pots - stage one.


Then we take the right amount of pots and pour in each one tablespoon of sunflower oil.
We spread onion in equal amounts onion with meat and mix the products in each pot until smooth.
At this stage of cooking, it is not necessary to salt the products, so just cover the containers with a lid and put them in a preheated oven 2 hours.

Step 4: bring the dish to full readiness.


In 10 - 15 minutes until the end of the right time, put sour cream, mustard, flour and salt in a deep bowl. We mix these products with a whisk until a homogeneous consistency.
After the required time has passed, we put on the kitchen gloves in our hands, open the oven, remove the lids from the pots and pour the resulting creamy mustard sauce on them.
We cover the pots with lids again and return them to the oven on 30 minutes.
After some time, we take out the clay vessels with a fragrant dish from the oven, cool slightly and then serve the beef to the table: either in pots, or after putting it on a plate.

Step 5: serve the beef in pots.


Potted beef is served hot. You can serve the dish as you like: in pots or on a plate. You can offer any side dish to this dish: vegetable purees, salads from fresh vegetables, boiled rice, cereals from cereals, pasta or other pasta. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Optionally, in the sauce you can put spices that are used in the preparation of meat dishes: coriander, dried basil, dill, parsley, black pepper, oregano and many other spices.
