Ginger Pear Cake


Ingredients for Ginger Pear Cake

  1. 4 eggs
  2. Margarine 250 grams
  3. Wheat flour 2 cups
  4. Brown sugar 1 cup
  5. Baking powder for dough 1 teaspoon
  6. Ground ginger 2 tablespoons
  7. Pear 3-4 pieces
  8. Icing sugar optional
  9. Breadcrumbs optional

Cooking pear pie with ginger:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


2/3 Whip whole margarine with sugar until splendid. Then gradually add one egg to this mass, stirring well after each.
Sift the flour separately, mixing it with ginger and a baking powder for the dough.
Then combine the dry ingredients with a margarine-egg mixture and knead to make a homogeneous dough without lumps.

Step 2: shift the dough into the mold.


With the remaining margarine, grease the baking dish and sprinkle its bottom with breadcrumbs. Pour the dough from above and smooth it with a spatula.

Rinse the pears, peel and seeds. Cut the fruit into halves or quarters and make cuts on them. Lay prepared fruit slices nicely on the dough, drowning a little in it.

Step 3: bake a pear pie with ginger.


You need to bake pear pie with ginger in a preheated 180 degrees oven (put the cake bake only in a preheated oven) for 50 minutes. Check the readiness of the pie with a toothpick.
Put the finished pear cake on a serving plate, cool to room temperature and decorate with icing sugar, and then serve.

Step 4: serve the pear pie with ginger.


Cut pear pie with ginger into portions and serve with tea for afternoon tea or dessert.

This is a delicious pastry with pieces of soft fruit. Pear is a great addition to biscuit dough, and therefore pies with it are especially tasty. Ginger also adds a spicy note, which is the highlight of this dessert.
