Making puff pastry on beer:

Step 1: Cook the puff pastry on beer.

Puff pastry on beer, as well as other types of puff pastry, must be prepared indoors with a temperature of no higher than 20 degrees, otherwise butter or margarine will melt quickly, products from this dough will turn out poorly puff. Therefore, in the cold season, the kitchen is well ventilated, the butter is preliminarily kept in the freezer for several hours and we do everything very quickly so that it does not have time to melt. If "overboard" is more than 25 degrees above zero, there is only one way out - to freeze oil and do everything quickly. Beer, of course, should also be directly from the refrigerator.
So, the butter is frozen, sift the flour and add salt and soda to it. Rub the oil quickly on a coarse grater or chop finely with a knife with flour (about one glass).

Add beer, mix, add flour in parts. The amount of flour in the recipe is indicated approximately, see how much the dough “takes”, it should turn out to be plastic and soft, so do not pour all the flour at once. We form a rectangle from the dough, wrap it in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours or in the freezer for an hour.

We take out the dough from the refrigerator, put it on a table sprinkled with flour and roll it into a rectangular layer about 1-1.5 cm thick.

We fold the dough like an envelope, rotate it 90 degrees, roll it again into a rectangular layer - fold it, and send it to the refrigerator for 2 hours or to the freezer for 30 minutes. All the puff pastry on the beer is ready.

Step 2: Use puff pastry on beer.

Ready puff pastry can be immediately used to prepare various products or divided into portions and kept in the freezer, using as needed. Puff pastry on beer is suitable for puffs with sweet filling and unsweetened pies.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- For preparing puff pastry, only light, weak beer is suitable; the dark one has a too pronounced taste, which will give the dough an unpleasant aftertaste.

- In no case do not add sugar to the dough, otherwise it will not work with puff.
