Ingredients for Cooking Mushrooms Baked with Cheese
- Mushrooms 300 grams
- Sour cream (warmed up) or thick cream 150 grams
- Milk (warmed up) 50 milliliters

Cooking mushrooms baked with cheese:
Step 1: fry the mushrooms.
Wash mushrooms, clean and dry. Then cut them into thin slices and fry in two passes (half the mushrooms at a time). Warm up every time 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, and then add mushrooms into it and, stirring often, cook them over high heat until golden brown.
Put the prepared mushrooms aside, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 2: prepare the sauce.
In the same pan in which you fried the mushrooms, melt the butter.
Add flour and cook, stirring frequently, until everything becomes more uniform.
Then add preheated sour cream and continue to mix and cook until the sauce turns into a uniform paste.
Pour hot milk here in a thin stream and continue to simmer and stir still for 1 minutes.
Step 3: stew the mushrooms in the sauce.
Add the fried mushrooms to the sour cream sauce and heat everything together for several seconds.
Mix everything and add more salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: bake mushrooms with cheese.
Take two small forms (125 milliliters each) or one medium (250 milliliters), grease them with butter and fill with mushrooms in the sauce.
Sprinkle all grated Emmental cheese on top and send in preheated to 200 degrees oven on 15 minutes, or until a brown crust forms on top.
If you want a more crispy crust, at the end of cooking, switch the oven to grill for a few minutes.
Step 5: serve the mushrooms baked with cheese.
Baked mushrooms with cheese should be served immediately, with crispy toast and wine, as I said in the introduction. Very tasty, satisfying and incredibly great!
