Grilled pizza ingredients

  1. Warm water 1.25 cups

  4. Wheat flour 2.25 cups
  5. Cupcake flour 1 cup

  7. Olive oil 2 tablespoons (plus for frying)
  8. Marinara sauce (or other tomato) 0.5 cups

Grilling pizza:

Step 1: prepare the dough.

Stir together warm water, sugar and yeast. At the end, pour in the same vegetable oil.
In a separate bowl, mix all the flour and salt.
Now combine the yeast mixture with flour and knead a soft, supple dough.
When all the ingredients have combined, continue to knead the mass for about 10 minutes, then roll the dough into a bowl and transfer to a greased bowl. Cover with cling film or a kitchen towel and leave to increase in volume, about 2 hours.
Then beat the dough on the table a couple of times and divide it into two equal parts and leave it in a separate form 1 hourcovering.

Step 2: bake the dough.

Warm the grill well. And bake pizzas in turn, it’s more convenient.
First, roll out, knead one part of the dough with your hands so that it (the dough) becomes a thin cake of round, oval or rectangular shape (as you like). Do not make the edges of the pizza, they will interfere with baking.
Take a dough with a brush with olive oil, and then lay it on the grill. If everything is well warmed up (your hand somehow stands above the grate 2 seconds), then the dough instantly grasps.

When the pizza crust is well baked on one side, turn it over with tongs or spatulas and bake on the other side too.

Step 3: prepare the filling.

Pizza toppings can be any, as always. In this case, there will be pizza ala caprese, so we use fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced, sliced ​​tomatoes, semicircles, tomato sauce and basil.

Step 4: put the filling on the dough.

A few minutes after you turn the pizza over, apply the sauce to the dough. And then immediately put the rest of the prepared stuffing.

Wait until the cheese melts from the heat and the tomatoes give a little juice. Also make sure that the dough is baked, then remove the pizza from the grill and serve it to the table.
Bake pizza from the remaining dough in the same way.

Step 5: serve grilled pizza.

Allow the pizza to cool slightly, then cut it into slices and serve. Thanks to this original way of cooking, the dish acquires a characteristic aroma. It needs to be tried.
