Ingredients for Making Spicy Cabbage Salad
- White cabbage 1 piece (small)
- Bulgarian pepper 1 piece
- Green onion (optional) 1 bunch
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Vegetable oil to taste

Cooking spicy cabbage salad:
Step 1: Preparing the dressing.
First prepare a salad dressing separately by mixing chili powder with vegetable oil. Beat everything well with a fork or whisk. Add salt and mix again.
Step 2: Cut the vegetables.
Prepare the cabbage by stripping the top leaves from it. Remove the stump. Divide the head into quarters so that it will be more convenient to cut it in the future, and chop each of the parts into thin strips.
Peppers are peeled and rinsed inside and out, remove the tails. Cut the vegetables into thin strips.
Rinse green onions and chop with a knife.
Step 3: Mix the spicy cabbage salad.
Put chopped peppers, cabbage and green onions in a salad bowl, cover with vegetable oil mixed with chili pepper and salt and mix. Leave at room temperature on 5-6 minutes. After this time, the hot salad will be ready and therefore it will be possible to serve it to the table.
Step 4: Serve the spicy coleslaw.
Spicy cabbage salad can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but usually it does not stand for so long. And you can serve it for lunch, dinner or a festive table. This salad is especially good for meat or potato dishes. Be sure to try it!
