Baked Potato with Cheese


Ingredients for Cooking Baked Potatoes with Cheese

Cooking Baked Potatoes with Cheese:

Step 1: boil the potatoes.


Rinse the potatoes properly. At the same time, young potatoes do not need to be peeled, but you need to carefully walk on it with a brush to remove all the grains of sand.
Cut the prepared potatoes into quarters or halves (depending on how large the vegetables are) and dip them in salted boiling water. On 7 glasses water will have 1 teaspoon salt. Wait until everything boils again and cook over medium heat for 8-12 minutes. The potato should be almost ready, that is, it will be easily pierced with a fork.
Drain boiled potatoes.

Step 2: mix the potatoes with yogurt.


Directly in the pot in which you cooked potatoes, add natural yogurt and mix gently. Stir so that the pieces of potato are covered with yogurt on all sides.

Step 3: bake the potatoes.


Put the potatoes in a baking dish, sprinkle with garlic salt and send in preheated to 200 degrees the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 4: add cheese.


Remove the baked potatoes briefly from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese and send them back (you can grill if your stove has such a function), and bake more 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.
If you are cooking this dish for the first time, then you will most likely want to salt the potatoes at the end, since you just do not know how much salt should be put initially.

Step 5: serve the baked potatoes with cheese.


Serve baked potatoes with cheese as an independent hot dish. Garnish with fresh herbs or finely chopped green onions to taste. It turns out very cool, it's worth a try!

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of yogurt, you can use buttermilk.

- If there is no garlic salt, take the usual and mix it with dried granulated garlic.
