Ingredients for making wafer cake with condensed milk

Cooking wafer cake with condensed milk:

Step 1: prepare condensed milk.

You can take ready-made boiled condensed milk, then cooking a cake will take you no more 15 minutes. But you can weld it yourself.
In order to cook condensed milk without opening, place the cans with it in a large pan, completely fill with water and bring to a boil. After cook for 3 hours. If the water evaporates too much during cooking, be sure to add it, because the banks with condensed milk should be completely immersed all the time.
Then cool the jars under cool running water. And before you open them, make sure that the condensed milk has cooled down, otherwise it may leave burns on your skin.

Step 2: mix the condensed milk with nuts.

Pre-melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Then add boiled condensed milk to it and mix well, turning everything into a homogeneous mass.
After that add cognac (or brandy) here and 1 cup crushed walnuts. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3: collect wafer cake with condensed milk.

There is very little left. Take the first waffle cake, lay it on a plate and carefully coat with condensed milk mixed with nuts, butter and alcohol. Cover the top with a second cake and grease it again on top. So collect the whole waffle cake.

When the wafer cake cake with condensed milk is assembled, decorate it with the remaining walnuts on top and let it brew at room temperature or in the refrigerator if it is hot in your kitchen. 1 hour - this is the time it takes to soak the cake.
