Making Masala Tea:
Step 1: Prepare the spices.
Break the cardamom pods and pour their contents into a mortar. Put cloves, black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon there. Grind all the spices, turning them into powder.
Peel the ginger root and grate it.
Step 2: Prepare Masala Tea
Heat water in a saucepan or a small saucepan, then pour milk into it and boil everything together.
Pour the previously prepared spices and ginger. Stir and continue cooking over low heat. Add granulated sugar to taste.
Pour the black tea leaves into the milk with spices, bring to a boil and reduce the heat to the minimum. Cook for more 4-5 minutes.
Then close the pot with masala tea lid, remove from heat and let the drink brew for a few more minutes.
Step 3: Serve Masala Tea.
When pouring masala tea into mugs, use a small strainer to prevent teas, slices of ginger and grains of spices from falling into the drink. Serve the drink hot. You need to drink it in almost the same way as regular tea, a little bit with sweets, for example, with homemade cookies.
Enjoy your meal!
