Ingredients for the preparation of the cake "Black Prince" on kefir

For the test

Cooking cake "Black Prince" on kefir:

Step 1: knead the dough.

Break the egg into a deep plate, add sugar to it and whisk everything until a thick white foam. Then pour in the same kefir and pour cocoa. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. And at the very end, add wheat flour and baking soda (no need to extinguish). Continue with a whisk to mix the dough until you break all the flour lumps and the mass becomes homogeneous. The dough for the Black Prince cake is liquid.

Step 2: bake the cake.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Lubricate the baking dish with butter or vegetable oil and pour into it the chocolate dough prepared earlier. Send the biscuit to bake in the oven on 20-25 minutes.

The readiness of the cake can be checked with a wooden toothpick or knife. Just pierce the biscuit in the middle, if after that the raw dough remains on the toothpick, you must continue cooking.
Remove the baked cake from the oven and cool at room temperature.

Step 3: cut the cake.

After the cake has cooled, cut it lengthwise into two parts. This is best done with a special knife with notches on the blade.

Step 4: prepare the cream.

To prepare the cream, soften the butter, leaving it for several minutes at room temperature. Then rub it with sugar and mix with sour cream. Mix the cream with a mixer, whipping it into foam.

Step 5: collect the cake.

Take one of the cakes and place it on a plate with the slice up. Smear with sour cream, applying it in a thick layer. Cover the top with a second chocolate cake, squeeze a little, and then grease the top and edges of the cake with the remaining cream.

Garnish the Black Prince cake with grated chocolate. You can sprinkle only on top, but you can also from all sides. Then, with a knife or spoon, straighten the edges of your product, picking up the leaked cream and the chocolate that has crumbled past.
That's all, the cake is ready, serve it to the table.

Step 6: serve the cake.

Cake "Black Prince" on kefir is a simple and delicious pastry, with the preparation of which, as you see, even a novice cook can cope. Serve the finished cake with tea or other hot unsweetened drinks. Such a dessert will look great on a festive table in honor of a birthday, for example.

Recipe Tips:

- Contrary to the widespread belief that kefir should be allowed to bake on a stand, the one that is left in the refrigerator, I prefer to use fresh, in my opinion, it tastes better.

- Grated chocolate can be used by anyone, but since the cake is so sweet, bitter is best.

- To make the cream, use butter, not margarine or spread.

- Sometimes the Black Prince cake is decorated not with grated, but with melted chocolate.
