Cooking Cranberry Jam:

Step 1: We sort through the berries.

Step 2: Soak the berries.

At the same time, do not forget to often mix the contents of the pan so that the berries do not burn to the bottom and walls of the dishes.
After the above 10 minutes, when the cranberries give the juice, pour it with granulated sugar. Keep cooking all the time while stirring 10-15 minutes.
As a result, the sugar should completely dissolve, the cranberry juice will evaporate somewhat, so that a rather thick jam will appear in the pan.

Ready cranberry jam should not be allowed to cool, it will immediately need to be decomposed into clean (meaning sterile) warmed (so as not to burst from hot jam) jars and cover with lids. Since everything is burning, be careful and use special kitchen tacks, and in order not to spill not a drop of precious jam, use a wide funnel.
Banked and hermetically sealed cranberry jam, leave it at room temperature for several hours to allow it to cool. But after it can be removed to other workpieces.
Attention: Cranberry jam is equally well stored both in cool and at room temperature, but the workpiece must be protected from light.

Step 4: Serve Cranberry Jam.

Serve cranberry jam for tea just like that, spreading it on toasts, buns or cookies. In addition, it is quite thick, so feel free to let this piece into various sweet pastries.
