Cooking spicy cabbage for the winter with beets:

Step 1: prepare the vegetables.

Rinse the beets, cut off all excess and remove the skin. Cut peeled root vegetables into small pieces or grate on a coarse grater.

Step 2: prepare the celery.


Peel the celery root by removing the top layer from it. After thoroughly rinse, dry and cut into small cubes.

Step 3: prepare the marinade.


Pour water into the pan, add vinegar, black peppercorns and chopped celery root to it. Stir everything and bring to a boil.

Step 4: prepare hot cabbage for the winter with beets.


Transfer the cabbage with beets into a deep plate (enameled or ceramic) and pour the marinade. Vegetables should be completely immersed in liquid, and two fingers should enter from the surface of the marinade to the cabbage with beets.
Put the vegetables to pickle on 3 days in a warm place.
