Step 1: prepare the apples.
Rinse apples with warm running water, remove branches. Peel the fruit using a special knife. Cut apples and remove seeds from each core. After cleaning, you can grate the pulp with a medium or fine grater, or you can just cut it into cubes, as the apples will still boil and we will grind them further.
In the meantime, pour chopped or grated apples into a pan with a thick bottom, add cool boiled water to them, add sugar and mix. Now you need to wait 5-6 hours until the fruits let the juice go.
Step 2: prepare the lemon.
When the apples are infused, quickly prepare the lemon. To do this, it will need to be thoroughly washed with warm water, cut into several parts. Remove all the bones, and then chop it in a blender or pass through a meat grinder, there is already someone closer at hand.
Step 3: prepare apple jam with lemon.
Put the pot with apples in sugar on a medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a slow, and then, stirring quite often, cook 1,5 hour.
Apples should become soft and transparent, as if marmalade. When this happens, remove the jam from the heat and grind it with a hand blender. Be careful, the hot mixture may bubble and spit; do not burn yourself.
When the apple pulp is ground to a puree state, return it to the fire, add chopped lemon, mix well. Bring to a boil again over medium heat, and then cook more 5-7 minutes.
Place hot apple jam with lemon on clean glass jars as soon as you remove your brew from the heat. After tightly close the jars with the workpiece lids and leave on the table at room temperature until completely cooled.
