Making jelly from sour cream:
Step 1: prepare the gelatin.
Pour granulated gelatin into a bowl and fill it with 100 milliliters of boiled and chilled clean water. Mix the products with a tablespoon until a homogeneous consistency and leave the gelatin to swell for 10 - 15 minutes.
After the necessary time has passed, pour the contents of the bowl into a small saucepan and put it on medium heat. We heat the swollen gelatin until it is completely dissolved. Then filter it through a sieve with a fine mesh into a clean bowl and cool a little.
Step 2: Cook the sugar syrup.
We don’t waste time in vain, immediately proceed to the preparation of sugar syrup. Pour granulated sugar into a clean stewpan. There we add 30 milliliters of pure boiled water (2 tablespoons) and mix these products with a tablespoon until smooth.
Then put the stewpan on medium heat and cook the syrup, stirring, until the sugar grains are completely dissolved. This process will take no more 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3: mix all the ingredients.
Now we put sour cream, vanilla sugar in a deep bowl and pour hot sugar syrup into it. We mix the products with a whisk and add a little cooled gelatin to them. Re-mix all the components of sour cream jelly until a homogeneous consistency.
Step 4: bring the dessert to full readiness.
Then we take a bowl or any other molds and pour a snow-white mixture on them. We tighten these containers with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator until the jelly completely solidifies on 3 to 4 hours.
After the necessary time has passed, we act at will: either we serve jelly in forms, or we take it out of them. This is a simple process. Pour boiling water into a deep bowl and, in turn, lower the jelly forms into it. 30 - 40 seconds.
After we cover each form with a plate and, holding it with your hand, immediately turn it upside down so that the molds with dessert remain in the center of the plates.
Then remove them with jelly, serve the dish with fresh berries, fruits, dried fruits or chocolate chips, and serve the “snow-white miracle” to the sweet table.
Step 5: serve the jelly from sour cream.
Sour cream jelly is served chilled as a dessert on a sweet table. If desired, each serving of this yummy is supplemented with fruits, berries, creams, condensed milk, crushed chocolate or crushed nuts. Also, jelly can be decorated with mint leaves or candied fruit. Enjoy it!
Enjoy your meal!
