Ingredients for Salad with Pomegranate and Chicken
- Chicken fillet 1 piece (small)
- Mix salad 100-150 grams
- Canned corn 1/2 tins
- Pomegranate 1/2 fruit
- Yogurt without additives to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Walnuts (crushed) to taste

Saucepan, disposable paper towels, kitchen knife, cutting board, deep plate, salad bowls for serving - 2 pieces, colander, tablespoon, kitchen knife.
Cooking salad with pomegranate and chicken:
Step 1: prepare the chicken.
Defrost the chicken, leaving it for several hours at room temperature. Then rinse it and wipe dry with disposable paper towels. Cook the chicken in any way convenient for you. That is, you can bake the fillet in the oven, stew in milk or, as I, for example, just cook. I will cook chicken in clean salted water for 20-30 minutes after boiling.
Ready chicken fillet needs to be cooled a little, and then cut it into medium-sized cubes.
Attention: when preparing chicken fillet, use various seasonings, for example, allspice, bay leaves, paprika, as this will only improve the taste of meat, most importantly, do not make it too spicy or spicy.
Step 2: prepare the salad mixture.
Rinse the salad mixture well with warm running water, for convenience, the mix can be folded in a colander. Then brush off the greens from excess moisture. Especially large leaves can be torn, but usually I just rinse them and leave to dry.
Step 3: prepare the corn.
Open a jar of corn, drain excess liquid from it and set aside the number of grains necessary for making salad.
Step 4: prepare the pomegranate.
To clean the pomegranate without excess dirt, make shallow cuts on your half from top to bottom. Dip the fruit in a deep plate filled with water and just take it apart by hand. You will see that the grains are drowning, and the whitish walls and other garbage float to the surface, where they are easy to collect. In the end, you just have to drain the water and you will see peeled pomegranate seeds.
Step 5: mix the salad with pomegranate and chicken.
We will lay the ingredients in layers. Therefore, move closer to yourself all the ingredients and salad bowls. First, lay the salad mixture, lightly ramming it with a tablespoon. Then sprinkle the corn grains, and on them pieces of chicken. Pour the salad with yogurt, salt and pepper to taste. Finish the dish by adding pomegranate seeds and chopped walnuts to its top.
Step 6: serve the salad with pomegranate and chicken.
Serve the salad with pomegranate and chicken immediately after cooking. Due to the appetizing appearance, this dish is quite suitable for serving guests at the festive table. But, most importantly, it has a very interesting taste and does not leave any heaviness in the stomach after itself.

- Instead of yogurt, you can use homemade mayonnaise or sauce made from sour cream and mayonnaise.
