Ingredients for making Napoleon waffle cake

Making a Napoleon Waffle Cake:
Step 1: prepare the custard.
The first thing you need to do is prepare the cream, as it will have to cool before we start to smear the wafer cakes and collect the cake. So, first pour the right amount of milk into the stewpan and put it on a slow fire, we need to heat it, but not boil it. In the meantime, it heats up, in a deep plate, beat the eggs, but not in the foam, as for an omelet, but simply mixing the yolks with proteins to a homogeneous mass. Then sift the wheat flour into the eggs and mix, so that you again get a homogeneous mass.
While you were preparing the eggs and flour, the milk warmed up and now, carefully, in a thin stream and in small portions so that nothing is curled, you need to add it to the mixture. Do not forget that the cream must be constantly stirred with a whisk.
You got a liquid milk-flour mixture, return it to the saucepan, simply overflow, and put it on a slow fire again. Mixing the cream all the time, cook it until it thickens. As soon as you notice that the mass has become thick, remove it from the heat and add pieces of butter to the warm cream, continuing to stir until it dissolves. Cool the finished custard first at room temperature, and then briefly place it in the refrigerator, for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 2: mix custard with condensed milk.
Remove the chilled and finally thick custard from the refrigerator, and pour the boiled condensed milk into a clean, deep plate. Then in small portions, literally 2-3 tablespoons, add the cream to the condensed milk, each time thoroughly mixing, so that in the end you get a homogeneous mass.
Step 3: form the waffle.
Prepare the waffle cakes. Remove them from the packaging and immediately set aside. 1-2 pieces and with your hands chop them into crumbs, they will go to decorate the finished cake. Grease whole cakes with custard mixed with condensed milk and lay on top of each other, pressing them slightly with your fingers, but just a little so as not to break them. In the end, when the Napoleon wafer cake is assembled, coat it with the remaining cream on top and sides, and pour the crushed cakes with your hands. Put the finished cake in the refrigerator on 20-30 minutesso that it becomes saturated and tastes even better, after which it can be served to the table.
Step 4: serve the cake.
The waffle cake "Napoleon" looks very appetizing on the table, and its taste is moderately sweet and not at all cloying. Therefore, safely place your work of culinary art on the table, make tea and proceed to the dessert.
