Preparation of lentil salad with vegetables:

Step 1: Cook the lentils.


First, put the groats in a sieve, sort and rinse several times with running water. Then move the lentils to the pan and pour in enough water (1 cup of cereal - 2 cups of liquid). Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover and simmer. 20-40 minutes, or until lentils are soft. At the same time, during cooking, do not forget to periodically stir the contents of the pan.
Cool the lentils so that they become slightly warmer than the temperature in your room.

Step 2: prepare bell peppers.


While the lentils are cooling down, prepare other ingredients. So, for example, bell pepper needs to be cleaned of seeds and remove the tail, then rinse, dry and cut into small cubes.

Step 3: prepare a fresh cucumber.


Rinse the cucumber and cut into small pieces. However, there is one important detail. Do not forget to check if the peel is bitter, otherwise it will have to be removed, and only the pulp of the vegetable should be put into the salad.

Step 4: prepare the greens.


Rinse the greens with warm water to make it more aromatic, and then chop it with a knife.

Step 5: preparing a gas station.


In the bowl, mix the required amount of vinegar and vegetable oil. Shake the ingredients thoroughly with a fork.

Step 6: mix the lentil and vegetable salad.


Pour the cooled lentils into a salad bowl, add pepper, cucumber and herbs to it, salt the salad to taste, pepper and add all other spices. Mix the ingredients together, then pour in the dressing and mix again. Congratulations! This completes the preparation of a delicious and fragrant lentil salad with vegetables, it remains only to bring it to the table.

Step 7: Serve the lentil and vegetable salad.
