Green Chicken Salad


Ingredients for Making Green Chicken Salad

The main

  1. Chicken fillet 600 grams

Cooking a green salad with chicken:

Step 1: prepare the chicken.


Thaw chicken first. To do this, just leave it for a while at room temperature. Then the meat should be washed and dried with disposable paper towels. Pepper and salt the chicken to taste.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put chicken fillet in it and fry on both sides until golden brown over low heat. I want to note that at this stage our task is not to cook chicken, but only to get a delicious crispy crust on meat.
Simultaneously fry the chicken, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. And as soon as the fillet gets the desired blush, place it to bake until fully cooked, that is, approximately, on 10-15 minutes.
After cooking, remove the chicken from the oven and cut into small cubes or thin strips.

Step 2: prepare the salad mix.


Rinse salad leaves with warm running water, then be sure to shake, removing excess water. Sort the ingredients, getting rid of the dry and nondescript leaves. Tear the selected greens into small pieces or chop into thin strips with a kitchen knife.

Step 3: prepare the cheese.


Cut off the crust of the cheese, if any, and then grate the parmesan. However, you can immediately get chopped cheese, this will save you a couple of minutes.

Step 4: preparing a gas station.


Put in the bowl all the ingredients for the dressing, that is, sweet mustard, wine vinegar, olive oil and cream. With a fork or whisk, if you like, mix all the ingredients together to make a uniform sauce.

Step 5: prepare a green salad with chicken.


You can mix the salad in portioned dishes, but I prefer to cook all in one first. First, I put the greens and half of the cheese, water the dressing, but again not all, but only the third part. I carefully mix salad leaves with cheese with a salad spoon. Then I spread the chicken, mix again, water the remaining dressing and pour the cheese. So, a couple of simple movements, and in front of you on the table is a ready-made and very delicious green salad with chicken, which remains only to be served.

Step 6: serve green salad with chicken.


Serve this salad immediately after cooking. And if you cook it in advance, it is best to simply prepare all the ingredients and store them separately from each other, without mixing. Otherwise, lettuce will lose its juiciness and the finished dish will no longer be so tasty and refreshing.

Recipe Tips:

- To taste sometimes croutons or crackers made from white bread can be added to such a salad.

- If in the nearest store there was no salad mix, then just take a variety of greens, including the choice can fall on Chinese cabbage.

- Experiment, add a little cherry tomato or bell pepper to the salad to make the taste of the dish even more amazing and summer.
