Cooking meat with potatoes and cabbage in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the meat.


Any kind of meat is suitable for this dish, for example, beef, veal and even lamb, but I chose pork neck, of course, it is rather fat, but very soft, so in any case it will turn out to be tender and charmingly tasty. First, we wash it under trickles of cold running water, dry it with paper kitchen towels, put it on a cutting board and use a sharp kitchen knife to get rid of the film, veins, and also small bones, which quite often remain on parts of the carcass after cutting. Then we cut the meat in portions from 2.5 to 3 centimeters in size, drop it into clean dishes and move on.

Step 2: prepare vegetables and other ingredients.


Using a new kitchen knife, remove the top contaminated leaves from the cabbage, and peel the remaining vegetables and rinse everything under a stream of cold running water. Then we dry these products with paper kitchen towels, take turns sending them to the cutting board and continue the preparation. Cut the potatoes into slices, cubes or slices from 1.5 to 2 centimeters in size, transfer them to a deep bowl with cold liquid and leave them until use, now they will not darken.

Chop the cabbage into strips.

We chop onions with carrots either with cubes, rings, half rings.

Although you can just chop them into small pieces up to 5-7 millimeters thick in a food processor or blender, but I prefer curly slices, so beautiful. Next, lay out on the countertop the remaining ingredients that will be needed to prepare the dish, and proceed to the next, almost final step.

Step 3: prepare meat with potatoes and cabbage in a slow cooker.


We insert the plug of the multicooker into the outlet, pour the necessary amount of refined vegetable oil into the bowl of the kitchen appliance and set the mode to the glowing board Baking 20 minutes. After about 30 seconds put pieces of pork inside the kitchen machine and cook them under a covered lid for 10 minutes. Then add chopped onions and carrots to the meat. Thoroughly mix them with a wooden or silicone kitchen spatula, tightly close the slow cooker and keep these products in it until the end of the program.
Then we put cabbage, potatoes, tomato paste in the bowl, black pepper, salt, laurel leaf to taste and fill everything with purified water at room temperature. Gently loosen the products to a homogeneous consistency, close the lid again tightly, set a new extinguishing mode for 1 hour and go to do other important things, now the miracle technique will do everything by itself.

After the necessary time, the kitchen assistant will turn off, notifying about this by the corresponding ringing or beeping sound signal. As soon as this happens, carefully lift the lid and release hot steam. Re-mix the resulting dish until smooth, spread the aromatic mass in portions on plates, set it on the table and invite the family to have a meal.

Step 4: serve meat with potatoes and cabbage in a slow cooker.


The meat with potatoes and cabbage in a slow cooker is served hot as a full-fledged second course for lunch or dinner. Before serving, distribute the aromatic mixture on plates, optionally sprinkle each serving with fresh finely chopped greens of dill, parsley, cilantro, basil or green onions and put on the table with such additions as sour cream, cream, marinades, pickles, vegetable salads and, of course, bread . This yummy is somewhat reminiscent of stew, Polish or Romanian goulash or roast, and it turns out to be very satisfying, one saucepan is just enough for a large family of seven to eight people, so cook with love and enjoy homemade food!
