Oven Ingredients for Cooking Cabbage Casserole

  1. White cabbage 300 grams

Cooking cabbage casseroles in the oven:

Step 1: prepare white cabbage.


White cabbage is well washed under running warm water, shake off excess liquid and spread on a cutting board. Using a knife, we try to chop the component as thin as possible. Then pour the chopped vegetable into a deep bowl and leave it for a while aside.

Step 2: prepare the onions.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and then rinse thoroughly under running warm water. Next, lay out the component on a cutting board and finely chop into cubes. Pour the chopped onion into a clean plate.

Step 3: prepare hard cheese.


Using a coarse grater, we grate hard cheese directly on a cutting board. Then pour the chips into a free plate and leave them aside for a while.

Step 4: prepare the dough for the casserole.


Using a knife, break the eggshell, and pour the yolks with squirrels into a bowl with slaw. To this we add minced chicken, finely chopped onions, sour cream and to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Now pour the flour into a strainer and sift it over the cabbage mass. Again, mix everything with improvised inventory and proceed to the preparation of the casserole.

Step 5: cook the cabbage casserole in the oven.


Lubricate the bottom and walls of the baking dish with a small amount of butter or vegetable oil. Further, so that the casserole does not burn at the base, be sure to sprinkle the bottom of the container with semolina or breadcrumbs. Now pour cabbage dough here and be sure to level its surface with a tablespoon.
Turn on the oven and heat it to temperature 180 degrees. Immediately after that, put the form on the middle tier and bake the dish for 35 minutes until a soft golden crust appears on the surface.
After the allotted time with the help of kitchen tacks, we get the container, and sprinkle the pastries with grated hard cheese. We put everything back in the oven and wait another 5-10 minutes. During this time, a beautiful golden cheese crust should appear on the surface of the casserole. At the end, turn off the oven, and take out the container and set aside. Let the dish cool slightly.

Step 6: Serve the cabbage casserole in the oven.


When the cabbage casserole becomes warm, we transfer it from the mold to a special plate and use a knife to cut it in portions. But we serve such aromatic, tasty and satisfying pastries to the dinner table along with tea, coffee, compote or various juices. Friends can also be invited to pour casserole with sour cream or other sauce. So also very tasty!
