Cooking meat with potatoes in a slow cooker:
Step 1: prepare the pork.
We thoroughly wash the pork under running warm water and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, if necessary, we clean the meat from veins, films and excess fat. Next, cut the component into small pieces and move it into a small bowl.
Step 2: prepare the carrots.
Using a vegetable cutter, peel the carrots. Next, thoroughly wash the vegetable under running warm water to remove residual dirt. Now, using a coarse grater, we rub the component directly on the cutting board, and then pour the carrot chips into a clean plate.
Attention: you can chop carrots in another way. For example, just lay the vegetable on a cutting board and chop into thin circles or a crescent. I did it differently and I want to say that it does not affect the taste in any way. So do as you like best.
Step 3: prepare the onions.
Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk. Then thoroughly rinse the component under running water and put it on a cutting board. We cut it into two halves and cut each part across thin thin rings. The chopped onion is transferred to a free plate.
By the way, the onion head can also be chopped as you like best. For example, simply chop finely into cubes or cut the component into four parts and chop each one into thin strips.
Step 4: prepare the garlic.
We put the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the edge of the knife. Immediately after that we clear the cloves from the husks and rinse under running water.
We lay out the components back on a flat surface and finely chop the improvised inventory. Pour the crushed cloves into a free saucer.
Step 5: prepare the potatoes.
Using a vegetable cutter, peel the potatoes from their skin. Then thoroughly rinse the tubers under running warm water to remove any remaining soil. Now put the components on a cutting board and cut into large pieces. We chop the chopped potatoes into a free small bowl and completely fill with ordinary cold water so that it does not interact with the air. Otherwise, the vegetables will darken.
Step 6: cook meat with potatoes in a slow cooker.
Pour a little vegetable oil into the multicooker pan and set baking mode. Then carefully spread the pieces of pork here and fry them for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spatula. Attention: do not close the lid.
When the meat is covered with a golden crust, add chopped carrots, onions and garlic to it. We continue to cook the dish in the same mode another 10-15 minutes. Important: vegetables must be soft. But so that they do not burn, do not forget to stir everything with improvised inventory.
Now put potato slices, a bay leaf in a bowl, pour tomato paste, and pour salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Pour all the ingredients with clean cool water, tightly close the multicooker lid and reinstall baking mode. Next we spot 60 minutes and prepare the dish. When the corresponding signal sounds, turn off the appliance from the network and open the lid. Using a wooden spatula, mix potatoes with meat well and we can begin to serve the dining table.
Step 7: serve the meat and potatoes in a slow cooker.
We lay out still hot meat with potatoes from the multicooker in a special plate and then serve it to the dining table. The dish turns out so tasty and satisfying that it can be easily eaten only with bread.
- Beef, veal, chicken or turkey fillet are also suitable for cooking. In any of the options it will turn out tender, juicy and very tasty;
- For satiety, you can put champignons in the dish. In this case, fry them together with vegetables after meat;
- the dish comes out very tasty, if instead of tomato paste, add homemade juice from tomatoes to it. Of course, then the potato will turn out more tender, but for those who suffer from heartburn, the very thing;
- In addition to the spices indicated in the recipe, you can add others to your taste in the dish. For example, it can be "hops-suneli", ground coriander and dried branches of oregano and thyme.
