Fried fish with vegetables

Ingredients for cooking fried fish with vegetables

An ordinary frying pan, a frying pan with high fields, a metal spatula, a wooden spatula, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, a knife for cleaning vegetables, a small plate, disposable paper towels, a coarse grater.

Cooking fried fish with vegetables:

Step 1: Prepare the fish.

The fish fillet must first be thawed. It’s best to just put it out of the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking, so that it thaws itself at room temperature. Rinse thawed fillet under a stream of cool running water and pat dry with disposable paper towels. Divide whole pieces of fish into portions of a very small size. At the end of cooking, pepper and salt the ingredient to taste. Leave the fillet soaked in spices and until you proceed to the preparation of the remaining ingredients.

Step 2: Prepare the bell pepper.

Rinse bell peppers with warm water and divide each into halves. Remove the seed core and cut the tail of each vegetable. Cut peeled peppers into thin strips or chop into cubes, depending on your preference.

Step 3: Prepare the onion.

Rub the onion a little in your hands to make it easier to peel off. Cut the peeled ingredient into half rings. It is best to cut the bulbs with a slightly damp knife.

Step 4: Prepare the carrots.

Using a special knife for peeling vegetables, peel the carrots. Rinse the peeled vegetable under a stream of warm water. This ingredient is best cut into thin cubes or chopped with a grater.

Step 5: Prepare the tomato.

The tomato, like other vegetables, needs to be washed, as well as cut out the place to which the peduncle used to be attached. After this cleaning, cut the tomato into small cubes. Be careful not to crush the vegetable.

Step 6: Fry the fish.

Before starting to fry the fish, pour the flour into a small plate and heat a certain amount of sunflower oil in a pan. Before placing the fillet in a pan, dip each slice thoroughly into flour.

You need to fry fish 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown. After cooking, put the fillet pieces on disposable paper towels so that they absorb excess fat.

Step 7: Stew the vegetables and form a dish.

In a pan with high fields, also heat a little vegetable oil and fry the onions until slightly transparent. Then add carrots there and cook the vegetables all the time stirring for 3-5 minutes. Then add bell pepper and tomato to the carrots and onions. Do not forget to pepper and salt all the ingredients. Stew vegetables until cooked, i.e. about 10 minutes.
When the vegetables are ready, remove the pan with them from the heat and add the fried fish. Stir everything and start serving the finished dish.

Step 8: Serve the fried fish with vegetables.

Arrange the fried fish with vegetables on portioned plates and serve as an independent hot dish for the lunch or dinner table. Offer a sauce for this dish, for example, soy or sour cream and a couple of slices of brown bread. That's all, start the meal. I hope you love this dish as much as I do.

Recipe Tips:

- You can use any white fish, for example, pollock, tilapia, carp and others.

- It is not necessary to cook this dish from fillets, you can just cut the carcass of the fish into small portions and slightly increase its frying time.
