Step 2: prepare the dough.


Before cooking, melt the butter. To do this, heat it in a saucepan over low heat. Once the oil has melted and becomes liquid, remove it from the heat and cool slightly.
Meanwhile, sift the flour through a sieve and mix it well with a baking powder for the dough. In another bowl, mix the melted butter with milk and eggs, whisk the liquid ingredients with a whisk. Mix dry and liquid ingredients together and add regular white sugar to them. Mix everything thoroughly so that the mass becomes homogeneous, without lumps, and the sugar is completely dissolved. Only after that add the cherry slices to the dough and mix the muffin mass well again.

Step 3: bake muffins with cherries.


First, preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees Celsius. And while it heats up to the right temperature, put paper "skirts" in the cupcake baking dish, if you decide to do without them, then grease the dishes with butter so that the finished muffins do not burn. Pour the cherry dough into the molds. Sprinkle brown sugar with a tablespoon. Now put everything bake in the oven on 20-25 minutes. Finished products should rise and brown. Important: you yourself know your oven better, if it warms up too quickly for you, it is better to choose a lower temperature and bake muffins with cherries a little longer. Check the readiness with a toothpick, if leaving the cupcakes it is dry and without pieces of dough, then everything is ready and the treat can be served to the table.

Step 4: serve the muffins with cherries.
