Puff tuna salad


Ingredients for Making Puff Tuna Salad

Cooking puff salad with canned tuna:

Step 1: prepare the pic.


Pour rice into a sieve and rinse thoroughly under running warm water until it becomes transparent. This is how our cereal will turn out friable after cooking.

Next, pour the component into a small pan and fill it with ordinary cold water from the tap so that the liquid covers the rice somewhere on two fingers. We put the container on medium heat and wait for it to boil. Attention: to speed up the process, you can cover the pan with a lid. Immediately after that, we reduce the heat to the maximum, pour a little salt into the container, mix everything thoroughly with a tablespoon and boil the rice until tender for 15-25 minutes until all the liquid has evaporated. In the end, turn off the burner, and we can put the cereal in a clean plate so that it cools faster and becomes room temperature.

Step 2: prepare the onions.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse thoroughly under running water. Then put the component on a cutting board and finely chop into cubes.
Pour the chopped onion into a deep bowl and pour boiling water. This must be done so that all bitterness leaves it, then the salad will turn out to be very tasty. Immediately add vinegar here and leave the marinated onion for 10 minutes. After the allotted time, carefully drain all the liquid, and for the time being we leave the component aside.

Step 3: prepare canned tuna.


Using a can opener, open a jar of tuna and carefully drain the liquid in which it was stored. Then, with a tablespoon, transfer the fish to a clean plate and, using the fork, knead well.

Step 4: prepare the tomato.


We wash the tomato under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut the vegetable in half and remove the stalk from each part. Now grind the component into cubes and carefully transfer to a free plate.

Step 5: prepare hard cheese.


Using a medium grater, grate hard cheese directly on the cutting board. Then we pour the chips into a clean plate and wrap them with cling film so that the component does not wind off while we are preparing the remaining products.

Step 6: prepare the apple.


We wash the apple under running water and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, peel the fruit from the peel and then cut it in half. From each piece we cut the stalk and box with seeds.
Next, using a coarse grater, rub the apple directly on the cutting board and then pour the chips into a free plate.

Step 7: prepare the garlic.


We put the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the edge of the knife. Now with clean hands we clean the clove from the husk and rinse under running water.

Spread the component back onto a flat surface and chop finely. At the end, pour the garlic in a saucer and we can begin to prepare the salad.

Step 8: prepare a puff salad with canned tuna.


So, all the ingredients are ready, so we can start preparing the salad! First of all, lay out on the bottom of the salad bowl or deep plate 1/2 part cooled boiled rice. Immediately after that, cover the component with chopped canned tuna. And to make the fish tasty and juicy, pour pickled onions on top of it. Now you can coat this layer with a small amount of mayonnaise using a tablespoon. By the way, I advise you to lightly tamp each level with improvised inventory. Next, spread the chopped tomato and immediately cover it with apple chips and sprinkle 1/4 part grated cheese. The sixth layer will be the remaining boiled rice, which we will grease with the next portion of mayonnaise (this time you can have more of this sauce), but already with finely chopped garlic.

At the end, sprinkle the salad with grated cheese and we can call everyone to the dinner table.

Step 9: serve puff salad with canned tuna.


The puff salad in itself turns out to be so juicy and tasty that you can not even insist on it in the refrigerator. And all because its composition includes an apple and a tomato. We serve the dish to the dining table along with pieces of bread and that's it. The salad is so satisfying that it does not need to be jammed. Help yourself!
