Cooking panna cotta classic:

Step 1: Soak the gelatin.


First you need to prepare a sheet of gelatin, for this, put it in a small but deep plate and pour cool boiled water. Then leave it for a while, thereby allowing it to swell. Important: the amount of water and the right time should be written on the package of gelatin. In the meantime, go to the next step.

Step 2: Cook the cream.


Pour cream into a clean pan with a thick bottom, add milk to them and put everything on fire. Once the mixture has warmed up, pour sugar into it and continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove the boiled milk-cream mixture from the fire immediately as soon as it boils. But be careful, make sure that all sugar is dissolved without residue.

Step 3: Cook the dessert.


After removing the boiled cream with milk and sugar from the heat, pour them into a deep bowl. Now drain the excess water from the gelatin, wring it out and add to the mixture. Mix thoroughly so that everything dissolves without residue. But after all the same it is better to strain everything through a fine sieve so that even the smallest lumps of gelatin and foam do not get into the finished dessert. Cool the resulting mixture to room temperature and continue to the next step.

Step 4: Make a dessert.


Pour the boiled creamy mixture into the prepared tins. You can also use special glasses for dessert and subsequently do not get the panna cotta from them, but serve directly. In any case, send the mass poured into molds to the refrigerator to cool 12 hours until completely thickened.

After the required time, the cream thickens thanks to gelatin and you can start serving the dessert on the table. In order to remove the panna cotta from the molds, simply dip them in hot water upside down for a few seconds, then cover with a dish and sharply turn over, shaking out the dessert. That's all, now the finished treat can be served on the table.

Step 5: Serve the panna cotta.


The classic panna cotta is served necessarily with various toppings or fresh fruits and berries. You can, for example, cook strawberries in sugar syrup and, after waiting a little while the syrup has cooled, lay the berries on top and in a circle of the dish in which you will serve dessert. And as a drink, choose unsweetened tea or coffee. I hope your sweet tooth and you will appreciate this gentle creamy dish prepared according to the classic Italian recipe.

Recipe Tips:

- In some recipes, instead of gelatin, agar-agar is used, but carefully read the instructions on the package and strictly follow it during the preparation process.

- You can also cook puff pastry panna cotta, but the next layer should be poured not earlier than the previous thicken.
