Cooking apple strudel in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


Take a deep plate and sift wheat flour into it, forming a slide. Use your hands to make a small indentation at the very top and put there pre-softened butter and a chicken egg. Start kneading the dough, gradually pouring heated water into it with a thin stream. Remember to add some salt. Knead all the lumps and form a ball from the mass. When everything is ready, put raw dough on a dish and wrap it with cling film. Now we need to give him a little rest and cool, for this we put our ball in the refrigerator and let it brew 30 minutes. And at this time we ourselves begin to prepare the filling.

Step 2: prepare the filling.


Rinse the apples and peel the skin from them. Divide each fruit into halves and use a knife to cut the seed core and remove the twigs. Pure apples need to be cut into thin slices.
When the apples are prepared and sliced, put them in a deep bowl, add raisins, sugar, cinnamon to them and pour everything with lemon juice. Mix the resulting mixture for filling properly, and then, like the dough, cover with cling film and let it brew 10-15 minutes.
It is also necessary to melt the butter in advance, we will need it to lubricate the strudel from the inside and outside, but a little later.

Step 3: form the strudel.


Once the dough has cooled sufficiently, remove it from the refrigerator and remove the film. Now you need to roll the raw dough into a pancake, and in order to make it easier then to roll it, it is best to do this on a dry kitchen towel sprinkled with a small amount of flour.
So, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and pull it out with your hands. It should turn out to be very thin, almost transparent, but everything needs to be done carefully to avoid tearing, otherwise the filling may leak out and the finished product will turn out not so juicy.

When the dough is ready, grease it with melted butter using a silicone brush, and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, stepping away from the edges along 3-5 centimeters. On a cracker, lay out the filling of apples and raisins, also stepping back from the edge. Wrap the dough remaining uncovered inward towards the center. Now simply roll the future strudel with a roll, prying your hand under the kitchen towel and pulling it by one edge. In a similar way, they roll Japanese rolls. Lubricate the formed strudel with butter.

Step 4: bake the strudel in the slow cooker.


Before baking, you should also prepare the bottom of the multicooker by greasing it with oil, but if you are sure that the bottom of your appliance does not need this, and have repeatedly checked your confidence in practice, then, of course, skip this step.
Gently put the strudel on the bottom of the kitchen appliance. If the resulting product turned out to be very long, it's okay, you can always bend the strudel, forming a bagel and even a spiral from it.
For cooking, we need to select the mode "Bakery products" and start the timer on 40 minutes, and after this time has passed, open the lid, turn the strudel on the other side and cook again 30 minutes. Serve the finished dessert hot immediately after cooking, not allowing it to cool.

Step 5: serve the apple strudel.


Apple strudel is served by slicing into portions and sprinkling with powdered sugar or decorating a plate with vanilla ice cream. Almost all types of tea or latte are well suited as a drink.
