Cooking Brussels sprouts in the oven:

Step 1: Prepare Brussels Sprouts.

Carefully sort out the cabbage of Brussels sprouts, removing the dried yellow and brown leaves. Fold the cabbage in a colander and rinse it thoroughly with running water. Wait a bit until excess moisture drains from the washed head of cabbage and cut each of them into two. At will, of course, you can leave them whole.

Step 2: bake Brussels sprouts in the oven.

Set the oven to warm up 200 degrees. Meanwhile, put the prepared heads of brussels sprouts on a baking sheet. Gather salt and pepper in a tablespoon and sprinkle the vegetables with spices, evenly distributing them over the entire area, and then pour the Brussels sprouts with olive oil in the same way. You can also carry out this procedure in advance in a suitable size plate, and only after putting the vegetables on a heat-resistant baking sheet, in other words, do it the way you prefer.
You need to bake Brussels sprouts during 30-40 minutes. Moreover, every 7-10 minutes mix vegetables with a special spatula or simply gently shake the pan. Important: open the oven carefully and use kitchen oven gloves for hot so as not to burn yourself with hot steam.
As soon as the cabbage heads are browned and ready, remove them from the oven and begin serving.

Step 3: serve the Brussels sprouts cooked in the oven.

Serve baked Brussels sprouts in the oven as a side dish or as an independent dish, offering, for example, sour cream or garlic sauce. Brussels sprouts are tasty both hot and chilled.
Enjoy your meal!
