Kefir Muffins


Ingredients for making kefir muffins

Cooking kefir muffins:

Step 1: knead the dough.


In a larger bowl, mix together all bulk products, that is, flour, sugar, vanillin and a baking powder for dough. In a smaller bowl, beat the egg with kefir in a whisk, add vegetable oil at the end, and mix the liquids again.
Now pour the mixture of liquid ingredients into the dry, stirring and breaking the lumps. As a result, the mass should be homogeneous.

Step 2: bake the muffins.


Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees. Grease the prepared form with oil or put paper cupcake molds inside. Using a tablespoon, spread the mixture and place everything to bake on 25-30 minutes. You can check the readiness in the same way as with a biscuit dough, that is, piercing the muffin with a toothpick, if it is dry at the exit and without pieces of dough, then everything is ready and you can start serving.

Step 3: serve the muffins.


Serve muffins with tea, coffee, cocoa, warmed milk or hot chocolate. Enjoy the vanilla aroma and sweet taste of pastries, as well as treat this treat to your family and guests.

- You can also add fruit or berries to the dough, for example, strawberries cut into small pieces.
