A tablespoon, a kitchen sponge, paper kitchen towels, a cutting board - 2-3 pieces a kitchen knife - 2-3 pieces, a saucepan (3 liter capacity) - 3-4 pieces, a stove, a deep bowl - 2 pieces, a tablespoon, a plastic wrap, fridge, salad bowl or serving plate.

Cooking a lazy herring under a fur coat:

Step 1: prepare potatoes, carrots, beets and chicken eggs.

So, you decided to pamper your loved ones with this delicious salad? Then let's get started! To begin with, using an ordinary kitchen sponge, we wash uncleaned carrots, beets, potatoes and, of course, raw chicken eggs under trickles of cold running water. We spread these products into separate medium-sized pots, pour purified water so that it is 5-6 centimeters above them, and put each on medium heat.

Step 2: boil the eggs.

Next, add a couple of tablespoons of rock salt and 9% vinegar to the dishes with chicken eggs. After boiling, cook them hard boiled for about 10-11 minutes. Then, using a slotted spoon, we move the testicles into a small bowl of ice water and leave it to cool completely.

Step 3: boil potatoes, carrots and beets.

When the liquid in the pots with vegetables boils, we cook them at different times, potatoes about 20-25 minutes.

Carrots - 25 or 30 minutes depending on grade and size.

Beets - 40-50 minutesand maybe longer if it's old. Periodically check their readiness with a table fork, if its teeth enter the vegetables smoothly, without pressure, they are cooked! When this happens, using the same slotted spoon, we transfer these products to a deep bowl and cool near the ajar window to room temperature.

Step 4: prepare the onions.

We don’t lose a minute, we start to deal with other important ingredients. With a kitchen knife, remove the husk from raw onions, wash it, dry it, put it on a cutting board, shred it in small cubes up to 5 millimeters in size and drop it into a deep bowl.

Step 5: prepare herring fillet.

Then we take the herring fillet, rinse it in water, dry it, put it on a clean board, also chop it into cubes, but this time their size can be increased, for example, to 1 centimeter, and send after the onion.

Step 6: prepare boiled vegetables and eggs.

In the meantime, while we were slicing, the vegetables with eggs cooled, we clear the first of the peel, and the last of the shell. Then carrots, potatoes and beets in turn shred on medium or large grater.

We wash the eggs from the fragments, dry, then divide into the yolk, as well as the protein and individually rub them in the same way as the previous boiled products.

Step 7: bring the lazy herring under the fur coat to full readiness.

Now in a bowl with herring and onions we move the chopped potatoes, carrots, beets and egg white. We season everything to taste with mayonnaise and salt, not forgetting that the herring is already saturated with this spice.

After that, using a tablespoon, mix all the components of the salad until a homogeneous consistency. Then we transfer it to serving dishes, form a beautiful slide, sprinkle the finished dish with egg yolk, tighten with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours for impregnation.

Step 8: serve the lazy herring under a fur coat.

Lazy herring under a fur coat is an easy version of the famous salad of the same name. After cooking, this miracle of cooking is insisted in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, and preferably all night, and then served at the table as a snack, until the main courses.

Before serving, the resulting salad can be decorated with fresh finely chopped herbs, mayonnaise net, figuratively chopped olives, as well as olives. Cook with pleasure and enjoy delicious as well as simple food!
