Oven ingredients for cooking boiled potatoes

Cooking boiled potatoes in the oven:

Step 1: Prepare the potatoes.

Rinse and peel potatoes with a special knife from the skin. The peel, of course, needs to be thrown out. Do not forget to also remove the eyes, if present. Rinse clean potatoes with water again. Then cut root vegetables with thick cubes.

Step 2: Boil the potatoes.

In the pan, type clean water and boil it, slightly salting. As soon as the water boils, put the chopped potatoes in it and cook 5-7 minutes without reducing the fire. In a sink, set a colander and drain the water from boiled potatoes, leaving the slices of vegetable to flow around and get rid of excess moisture.

Step 3: Prepare the butter.

While boiled potatoes are dried in a colander, melt the butter in a small saucepan. And after that, do not let it cool, maintain its temperature with a slow fire, if you suddenly hesitate with other preparations.

Step 4: Bake the potatoes.

Pepper potatoes and salt, even to taste and need. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Pour the hot melted butter into a heat-resistant baking sheet and immediately put the potatoes, leveling it all over the baking sheet. Bake potatoes in the oven for 45 minutes. But do not leave your side dish unattended, but after about 20 minutes open the oven and turn over the slices of potatoes so that they are covered with a golden brown on the other hand. As soon as the set time has passed and all the potatoes are golden and crispy, your side dish is ready, proceed to serve.

Step 5: Serve the boiled baked potatoes.

Serve the potatoes in portions. Here you have an appetizing, hot and versatile side dish. You can even serve it as a meal on your own, just by offering it a cheese, tomato or garlic sauce.
