I saw this cake recipe in a lot of chefs so I made it too. It is a rare fluffy and just as good. I made it and it was eaten immediately, especially since I also had guests. I highly recommend it!
- 4 eggs
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup sugar (150 ml cup)
- 1 canita faina
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- grated lemon peel
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar with vanilla pods
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- a handful of walnut kernels
- 1 tablespoon candied orange peel (I have from Nature's Goodness)
- 2 teaspoons miam miam with chocolate (if you have one)
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Fluffy nut cake:
We mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt and then with the sugar until we get a meringue.
Extinguish the baking powder with lemon juice, put it over the egg whites, then incorporate the sifted flour, the sugar with vanilla pods and the grated lemon peel with the help of a silicone paddle.
Rub the yolks with the oil and add them to the above composition.
Grease a cake pan with margarine, line it with baking paper and pour half of the composition.
We mix the other half with cocoa and miam miam.
Pour the cocoa composition over the white one, and put the chopped walnut kernels and candied orange peel on top.
Put it in the hot oven, at a suitable temperature for 30-35 minutes, do the test with the toothpick.
We take it out when it is ready, let it cool and serve.
You will eat 2-3 slices and you will still want;)
