Stir over low heat stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.

Add soda, cook until the mass increases three times, remove from heat.

Add the flour in parts, knead a thick dough.

Pour the remaining flour from the norm onto the work surface, pour out the dough and knead a soft smooth dough.

Make a sausage from the dough and divide it into 8 equal parts. Cover the slices with cling film so that the dough does not dry.

We roll one piece into a thin rectangular layer, 2 mm thick. On a floured surface. Wrap a sheet of dough on a rolling pin, put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

Bake cakes in a preheated oven to 180 degrees, 3-5 minutes. Baking time depends on the thickness of your cake.

The edges of the finished cakes are cut with a knife so that they are the same.

Getting to the cream.

In a saucepan, beat the yolks with sugar.

Add flour, stir.

Pour milk in parts, mix until smooth.

We put on a small fire and stir until cooked until thickened.

Remove from heat, add vanilla sugar to mix.
