Mushroom stew

I made the stew in a cauldron, so we put the very finely chopped onion in a little oil and then we put the cleaned and diced mushrooms (I had them put in the freezer) and let them harden a bit, then we add as much water. cover the mushrooms and let them boil over medium heat. Meanwhile, prepare the bulk, rub the cream well and add the flour, after rubbing well add the milk and mix until it has no lumps. We look at the mushrooms to see if they have boiled and we add the thickening, stirring continuously for about 10 minutes, and finally we add salt, pepper and finely crushed garlic.
