Preparation of horseradish with mayonnaise:

Step 1: prepare the horseradish.

This appetizer sauce is prepared quite quickly and easily. To begin with, using a sharp kitchen knife, remove the dense upper skin from horseradish, thoroughly rinse it off the sand, put it in a deep bowl, fill it with normal running water above the level by 2-3 centimeters and leave it in this form for 1 hour so that a large root leaves part of bitterness. After the required time, we take it out of the liquid, wash it again, dry it with paper kitchen towels and turn our attention to other equally important ingredients.

Step 2: prepare the rest of the ingredients.

To make the dish not so sharp, you need to add a neutral ingredient with a sweet and sour flavor, in our version it is an apple. We rinse it, dry it, remove the skin from the fruit with a clean knife, cut it into 2 ladles and remove the core with the stem from them. After that, lay out on the kitchen table the remaining products that will be needed to prepare the dish.

Step 3: chop horseradish and apple.

Then we decide how to chop horseradish and apple. For this purpose, you can use a stationary blender, food processor or a small, medium or large grater.

The size of the slices depends on your personal preferences. Once this issue is resolved, transfer the chopped root and fruit into a deep bowl and proceed to the next step.
