Dessert biscuit balls filled with sour cherries

We grind the biscuits in a blender or mincer.

In a bowl, mix the walnuts, biscuits and cocoa.

In a kettle, put the milk with the sugar, chocolate and butter and let them simmer until they all melt. Turn off the heat, let it cool a bit, add the rum essence, then pour so warm over the biscuits and walnuts in the bowl.

Mix well, until all the ingredients are homogeneous, then by hand, take pieces of dough and form balls, and in the center of each, add a sour cherry. At the end, we roll them in coconut.

Keep cool!

Put the biscuits and nuts through the mincer and mix in a bowl with the grated lemon peel.

Separately in a saucepan, heat the milk, cocoa and sugar. To prevent lumps from forming, mix the cocoa with a little cold milk and then add it to the pan. At the end, a few drops of rum essence are added. Mix very well until all the sugar dissolves and all the cocoa lumps disappear. The mixture should be lukewarm.

Pour the mixture over the biscuits and walnuts and mix well.

With the wet hand, lumps are formed in the middle of which a sour cherry is inserted. Then add the coconut and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

1. For the syrup, add water or milk with the sugar and cocoa, to taste, boil and leave until a well-bound syrup is obtained.
2. The biscuits are finely crushed on the robot or passed through the mincer. Over them add soft margarine, the two tablespoons of cocoa, raisins, walnuts, rum essence and some syrup (cold). 3. From the resulting paste, take small pieces that are shaped between the palms, put a pitted cherry or 2-3 blueberries. We form balls that we place on a grill.
4. Dark chocolate melts in the microwave in two or three stages of 30 seconds each. We decorate the fragrant candies and place them on special papers.

They are delicious, fragrant, soft and crunchy on the surface.
