Hot pepper jam

Wash the peppers, clean the stalks and seeds and chop finely. For these operations it is good to have gloves. The amount of pepper is before cutting the stalks and removing the seeds.

Put the sugar and vinegar in a double-bottomed saucepan and bring this composition to a boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes and add the hot peppers and capsicums. Turn the heat to low and simmer until the jam is set.

To check if the jam is bound, take a tablespoon of jam and let it cool. When it is cold, it should be slightly sticky and not run, but drip on the plate, if we tilt the plate slightly.

We take the jam from the fire and put it hot in sterilized jars. We put the lid on and store it in the pantry.

This wonderful jam makes a good house with steak, pasta and other dishes.
