Fasting sarmale in sweet pepper sauce


From the beginning I want to stop at two moments: vegetables that are fried for stuffing can be prepared in two ways:

- Cut all the vegetables of your favorite size into cubes, lengthwise and fry in a pan or add them in a fresh form given by grater, except for the onion, which must be fried, because it gives a more pleasant taste to the filling. That's why I tell you a faster and easier method for cooking- To fry, cut the vegetables and onions into larger sizes, soak them in the pan and then put them all through the mincer. Chop all the vegetables, mix with the rice, add your favorite spices. The rice acquires a beautiful color and a special taste.

This dish is popular in several countries in Europe or the Balkans, being borrowed, in fact, from the Ottoman Empire.

Although they are not missing from the holiday table, sarmalele can be enjoyed during Lent, in various recipes without meat, but just as tasty. Fasting stuffing can be easily cooked by any housewife, and for inspiration we have prepared below some recipes to try during Lent.

What else do I like the smell of sarmale boiling on fire & # 8230I don't say anything about sarmale, I would eat as much as I could. They are very good. And if you know how to make them, it doesn't make you fat. If we usually make sarmales with meat, during fasting we have the version of sarmales made from vegetables. They are just as good as the ones with meat.

Cruise Phase (PL), Consolidation, Definitive Stabilization

Nutritional scale - starting Tuesday

Ingredient:

- 200 g classic rice (or konjac rice for the cruise phase or for Tuesdays to Fridays in the Nutrition Scale)

Preparation:

Finely chopped onion and carrot given through the large grater are "hardened" for 2 minutes on low heat in olive oil. Then add the chopped mushrooms and diced zucchini to the pan. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes for the mushrooms and zucchini to leave the juice.

Remove from the heat and place in a bowl. Add over the washed rice, salt, pepper, thyme and 2 lbs of tomato broth.

From the resulting composition, put the composition in cabbage leaves and form the cabbage rolls.

Place in a layered heat-resistant dish. Cover the last layer with finely chopped sauerkraut. Sprinkle with the rest of the broth, add salt, pepper, paprika and thyme. Pour hot water over them until they cover them.

Put the lid on the pot and cook on the fire for about 30 minutes, after which I like to take them off the stove and continue to boil them in the oven. At some point along the way I take the lid off and leave them in the oven. If you don't want to put them in the oven anymore, let them boil on the stove.

I have this recipe and I use two or three types of cheese, you can use only one type
Grate the cheese on a small grater, I know it's harder, but it comes out finer & # 8230For every 100 grams of cheese add 1 egg and a tablespoon of flour, so if you make croquettes from 1 kg of cheese, you automatically need 10 eggs and 10 tablespoons of flour. They are fried in an oil bath, I fry them in the fryer. When they are ready, they rise to the surface. They are served as an appetizer, hot or cold.

Fasting stuffed peppers

1. Prepare the peppers for the filling: Cut & # 8220capace & # 8221 of each pepper and clean the bottom of the seeds, using a teaspoon.

2. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the chopped onion as small as possible, together with the chopped garlic.

3. When the onion becomes translucent, add the diced mushrooms and stir continuously until the mushrooms change color completely.

4. Add over 2-3 tablespoons of tomato puree and the rest of the ingredients: washed rice, grated carrot, finely chopped parsley, salt and pepper.

5. Fill the peppers with this composition obtained and place them in a heat-resistant tray.

6. Next to them, pour the water combined with the rest of the tomato sauce, up to half their height.

7. Place the pan with the stuffed peppers in the oven for 70-80 minutes, at 160 degrees, or until the peppers are browned.

8. Turn them halfway through the cooking time and serve the stuffed peppers along with the polenta and a little dill sprinkled on top.
